Lori Alessandrini is the owner, licensed aesthetician, and certified laser technician of Essential Aesthetics and Laser in Charlotte, NC. Before transitioning into the skin care industry, she began her career as a certified medical assistant and spent 22 years in the medical field where she developed a deep compassion for people. Lori is well-equipped and knowledgeable about the needs of the skin, as well as the importance of nourishing the whole body through touch, massage, and relaxation.
With over two decades of experience providing medical care for patients, Lori understands the amazing power of the human touch, empathy, and genuine love. Her approach is to ensure patients are as comfortable as possible while she addresses specific needs. By providing a sanctuary of total relaxation and rejuvenation for patients, Lori's goal is to educate, build long-lasting relationships, and improve the condition of their skin along with their mental and physical wellness.
Lori is an expert in a wide variety of minimally invasive aesthetic treatments ranging from dermal filler injections to laser skin resurfacing. Using the most up-to-date technology, as well as her passion for wellness, peace, and inner beauty, she provides customized skin care plans for patients that target their concerns, needs, and desires. Lori is deeply dedicated to utilizing her medical expertise and training to help individuals look and feel better.
Lori graduated from the aesthetics program at Miller-Motte College in Wilmington, NC where she received academic awards and earned recognition by remaining on the President's List. She went on to obtain further private instruction on European techniques and philosophy, which she incorporates into every part of her practice.

I have been coming to Essential Aesthetics for a year now. I moved to Charlotte from New Orleans and I was very hesitant about trying a new laser spa. My consultation with Lori was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. As an African American woman a lot of laser places don’t cater to my skin type. Essential Aesthetics definitely does! For 20 plus years I have suffered with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), therefore I have a lot of scar tissue and ingrown hairs. Since starting my laser journey my I don’t get ingrown hairs anymore. My laser technician Faith is spectacular!!! She is so genuine and passionate about what she does. If I have questions or concerns she has no problem answering them. She gives her honest opinion on what services I truly need. Thank you Faith! I can’t wait to get my first chemical peel next week. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend because Essential Aesthetics!
