How Does BOTOX Work?
BOTOX is derived from a clean type A strain of botulinum toxin. It works to temporarily block the muscles that assist with those movements, allowing the overlying skin to recover over time. The formula will be injected into the problem areas of your forehead or upper face using a small syringe. BOTOX takes around ten minutes to carry out, and many patients experience only mild discomfort. It is common to notice some minor swelling, bruising, and redness in the treatment areas, but these symptoms shouldn't persist. Over the next 2 – 3 days, you will likely begin to notice your results.
